A mass shooting in Germany killed 10. Based on things he posted online, it's suspected that the gunman was a far-right extremist. He attacked two shisha bars, where Middle Eastern people tend to gather, and a cafe. The shooter and his mother were found dead in his home.

An appellate court ruled against the Mississippi abortion restriction. The law was passed last year and prevented abortions whenever a fetal heartbeat could be detected. Heartbeat can be detected as early as six weeks into the pregnancy. The court referenced both Roe v Wade and a previous ruling by a court in the same circuit striking down Mississippi's earlier 15 week abortion ban.

Three people were shot in Lake City after two men pulled guns on one another. They were having an argument, and a woman was caught in the crossfire.
