A small victory has been won in the ongoing battle against annoying and malicious robocalls. The Federal Trade Commission announced they shut down 4 companies involved in the shady business. The businesses did everything from selling insurance to pitching fake-debt relieve programs to scamming people for supposed charitable donations.

An inmate in Broward County decided it would be a good idea to punch a public defender in the back of the head during a bond hearing. It was all caught on video. The inmate was reportedly arrested for battery while at a mental health facility.

A zebra escaped a ranch north of Jacksonville. The owner and some deputies cornered it and ended up shooting the animal. The sheriff reportedly said that the animal was injured, and they euthanized it though some witnesses seemed skeptical. The owner of the zebra didn’t have a permit to own it.
