2 food recalls have gone out recently. The first is a precautionary recall of avocados for potential listeria contamination. They were distributed by the Henry Avocado company and have California on the sticker. Both the non organic and organic ones are included, and the non organic avocados have “Bravocado” on the sticker as well. The second is a reminder of an older recall for salmonella in ground beef that might be in your freezer. It was sold as Laura's Lean, JBS Generic, and Kroger and has the establishment number EST 267.

Somebody stole a hot air Balloon from some poor hot-air balloon owner in Indiana and brought it here to Florida. The person who stole it tried to fly the balloon in the Villages Hot Air Balloon Festival and got caught after police were tipped off. The owner of the balloon is reportedly not going to press charges, but still wants it back.

Palm Beach Gardens is reportedly dealing with a plague of toads. Cane toads are hopping all over the place, hiding in peoples yards and clogging pool filters. It would be less of a problem if the toads weren't poisonous, but they are so its a problem. Its possible that the toads will spread all around South Florida.
