Several crashes took place yesterday. The worst happened on I-75 headed south between Alachua and Gainesville. The crash involved two tractor trailers, a passenger van, and another car. 7 people have died and 8 people were seriously injured. North and Southbound lanes were blocked. As of this morning ACSO made a post on their Facebook referencing a tweet made yesterday. The post slow going both North and South on I75 at mile marker 393. Take another route if you can

ACSO said another vehicle went off the road yesterday on 301 south of Hawthorne. Details are light, but the car caught fire and one person has died.

Alachua county Fire Rescue said there was another fatal accident yesterday near Alachua. Not much is reported, but it involved a motorcycle and a semi.
